Food pairing
Description
This wine blends approximately 98% Tempranillo (Tinta Fina) with traces of Albillo Mayor and Garnacha Tinta from old vines and high-altitude vineyards. The grapes are hand-harvested between late September and mid-October, followed by gentle fermentation and maceration at 18°C for two weeks in 15,000 kg vats. After malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, the wine matures for 12 months in oak vessels of varying sizes, from 225 L barrels to 600 L casks and large-capacity vats. Finally, it rests in the bottle before release.
With an alcohol content of 15% vol., Bardos Viñedos de Altura 2022 elegantly reflects the extreme climate, altitude and character of the Soria terroir; a wine that conveys the identity of an extreme area of Ribera del Duero through artisanal and respectful production.
