Tinto Pesquera Winery

Tinto Pesquera is the materialization of a lifelong dream, a door that is always open to the richness of the world of wine and the Ribera del Duero and the origin of everything that Familia Fernández Rivera is today.

In homage to Pesquera de Duero, the hometown of Alejandro Fernández and Esperanza Rivera, founders of Familia Fernández Rivera, and with its origins in a 16th-century stone wine press, Tinto Pesquera began to produce its first wines in 1975 with the aim of vindicating the value of the Ribera del Duero terroir through pioneering Tempranillo production processes. Thanks to its tireless work, Tinto Pesquera was one of the wineries behind the rise and recognition of Ribera del Duero and one of the driving forces behind its Designation of Origin.
