CARDENAL MENDOZA ANGELUS

Description

Cardenal Mendoza Angelus is the liqueur of the Sánchez Romate house, made in Jerez de la Frontera from its emblematic Brandy de Jerez Cardenal Mendoza. It was conceived by the bodega's cellar master, who wanted to capture in a bottle the scent of orange blossom that filled the courtyard every spring.

It is made by macerating Seville bitter oranges, Valencia lemons, cardamom and cloves in the brandy. It then rests in sherry-seasoned casks until it reaches the balance between its citrus character and the depth of the brandy.

A sweet, aromatic and highly versatile liqueur: perfect neat, on the rocks as a digestif or as an ingredient in cocktails.
