Description
Alto Moncayo 2022 is one of the great wines of the DO Campo de Borja and an undisputed reference for Spanish Grenache. It comes from old vineyards, some centuries old, located on the slopes of Moncayo, at different altitudes, on poor and stony soils that naturally limit yields and concentrate the quality of the grapes.
Made exclusively with Garnacha, this wine shows enormous aromatic intensity, where ripe black fruit, notes of plum and blackberry stand out, accompanied by spicy, mineral nuances and touches of cocoa and toast from its aging in barrels. In the mouth it is broad, structured and enveloping, with ripe and silky tannins, well-integrated acidity and a long, deep and persistent finish.
Alto Moncayo 2022 is a wine with great personality and aging capacity, which faithfully expresses the strength of the terroir and the extreme character of the continental climate.
