Maison Rémy Martin

Maison Rémy Martin

With more than 300 years of history, the house stands out for producing its distillates exclusively from the mixture of spirits (eaux-de-vie) from the areas ofGrande Champagne and Petite Champagne, the two highest quality territories in the region, which gives it the protected designation of originCognac Fine Champagne.

Unlike other large firms, it began with purely winegrowing and family roots, maintaining a close relationship with time and the sustainable cultivation of the land.

Since 1870, the official logo of the brand is a Centaur (in allusion to the zodiac sign Sagittarius of its promoter Émile-Rémy Martin), a symbol that projects the union of human beings with nature.

Traditional distillation: It continues to be carried out in small copper stills on lees, subsequently aging the liquid in French oak barrels to develop an aromatic, complex and intense profile.

The Rémy Martin estates are the first wineries in the Charente region (sixth in France) to obtain the "High Environmental Value" (HEV) certification, recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture.
