Thehistory of Bodegas Williams & Humbert cbegan more than 140 years ago.They were participants in the creation of the Denomination of Origin Jerez-Xérès-Sherry and, today, the winery is recognized as one of themost prestigious production companies in the world.

Since then, part of the house's wines and brandies have been preserved in oak barrels of the highest quality (soleras). These form the basis of the current development and aging of each of the wines and brandies of Bodegas Williams & Humbert.

The Williams & Humbert Wineries are located in the triangle formed by Jerez de la Frontera, El Puerto de Santa María and Sanlúcar de Barrameda. This is characterized by a peculiar microclimate made up of the Guadalquivir and Guadalete rivers, called “the Mesopotamian valley” of western Andalusia.

Its facilities are considered to be the largest in Europe, a set of buildings distinguished with the National Architecture Prize and occupying 180,000 m2. A total of more than 30 million liters of sherry and brandies, -60,000 American oak butts-, rest and age under the traditional “Criaderas y Soleras” system.

Currently, Bodegas Williams & Humbert markets its products in more than 80 countries and is developing an ambitious diversification program in the high-quality agri-food sector. Ddistributes its products throughout the national territory, among which theSherry Wines such as Canasta, the Don Zoilo range and the Gran Duque de Alba brandy stand out. Furthermore, in its diversification process, it has incorporated appellations of origin such as Ribera del Duero into its portfolio, with its Marqués de Polavieja red wines; Rioja, such as the Viña Paul and Peñazola red wines; wines from theD. O. Rueda, like Viña Saltés; or an Albariño, like the Espírito da Terra.
