Color rojo cereza intenso con matices rubí y ribete teja, de capa limpia, brillante y con abundante lágrima.

Gran complejidad donde predominan las frutas negras y maduras (ciruelas, arándanos), seguidas de notas dulces y tostadas de vainilla, cacao, chocolate y coco procedentes de la madera.

Es un vino untuoso, redondo y muy equilibrado. Muestra taninos pulidos, una frescura persistente debido a su buena acidez y un final largo impregnado de especias y roble.
